The Christmas Wonderland at the magical Gardens by the Bay is probably the biggest Christmas festival in Singapore and is truly a dazzling spectacle!
Join the crowds at the bustling Festive Market selling handmade crafts, boutique goods and vintage items; all that will make excellent Christmas gifts. This year, the Christmas bazaar will also showcase 24 wooden huts specially designed to resemble famous Christmas markets throughout Europe such as the Avenue des Champs-Élysées in Paris. Located conveniently beside the Supertree Grove, you can expect fantastic photo opportunities and get your Christmas shopping done at the same time!
Of course, the Christmas Wonderland is more than just a bazaar. Be enchanted by mesmerising light sculptures that are lovingly handmade by Italian craftsmen as you hum along to the cheerful tunes of Christmas carols. Also, be sure to visit Asia’s tallest golden Christmas tree – a breathtaking 7-storey high luminarie mirror maze that is a sheer work of art.
To create a more authentic yuletide experience, the organisers have also built an outdoor skating rink specially flown in from Switzerland. If you have never experienced a cold Christmas in Singapore, it is time to gather your friends and try out ice-skating under the stars.
There is so much more to see and do here, from shopping to carnival games to Santa Claus appearances. What a way to welcome the Christmas season!
Tip: Aside from the Christmas festivities, Gardens By The Bay is popular amongst tourists for being a horticultural wonder smack within the city. Get your discounted admission tickets (for tourists only) for Flower Dome and Cloud Forest now!
